Rectangular box, the cover centred with an oval micro-mosaic plaque depicting a white greyhound in a landscape, within a gold mount stamped with stylized acanthus, on a frosted gold panel chased with scrolling foliage within stylized acanthus borders, the corners stamped with roses on frosted grounds, the convex sides engine-turned with horizontal reeding and rectangular rosettes, the base stamped with an oval foliate rosette on an engine-turned diaper pattern surrounded by six roses stamped on sides and corners, wavy engraved thumbpiece
