Rectangular box with canted corners, the cover enamelled with Orpheus leading Eurydice from the underworld and looking at her, against a landscape background with female attendant, flanked by two vertical black enamelled borders with two taille d'épargne mandorla-shaped frosted gold reserves engraved with foliage, the base with identically framed enamelled mountainous landscape, the sides enamelled with three white horizontal stripes, the four canted corners with identical black enamel panels
