Oval box with scalloped outlines, the cover inset with an enamelled oval reserve with wavy outlines, painted with a lakeside landscape on an opalescent guilloché sunburst ground, surrounded by a wavy opaque pastel blue band engraved with enamelled translucent red and opaque blue and white flowers and with basse-taille gold foliage, within opaque white enamel bands, bordered by engraved flowerheads, the base centred with a mandorla-shaped reserve of wavy outlines containing a guilloché radiating sunburst ground, bordered by a band of engraved scrolling foliage, the lobed sides engraved with leaves
