Geneva, circa 1840, one gold panel with English hallmarks
Oval box with lobed outlines, the green enamelled cover bordered by a band of rose-cut diamonds and applied with a gold sunray motif set with glass stones centred by a translucent red enamelled guilloché oval reserve set with a glass stone surrounded by eight smalled glass stones, the scalloped sides enamelled with flowersprays on alternating yellow and pink panels, the base centred with an opalescent enamel miniature on a guilloche sunset ground painted with ships on lake Geneva, surrounded by opaque pink enamelled radiating panels, the inside of the lid enamelled with a similar view surrounded by radiating enamel panels painted with flowersprays on alternating translucent red and opaque beige panels, lobed flange
