Slightly tapering étui-à-cire of octagonal section, the slightly domed cover topped by a chased rosette, with plain matrix, the four sides of both cover and base with engine-turned panels of vertical reeding scattered with flowerheads and pellets, centred by reserves of frosted gold chased with trophies of Love and flowers in three-colour gold, the borders applied with scrolls and trailing foliage
