The collector's number is usually found on Neapolitan 17th century drawings. The same numbering is on a drawing by Francesco Solimena, formerly in the collection of John Gere, exhibited in Edinburgh in 1972, Italian 17th Century Drawings from British Private Collection, no. 105, and now in the British Museum.
