On a later circular velvet mount and in a parcel-gilt wooden frame; with labels on the reverse inscribed 'Nymphe enleveé par Phebus/Ivoire de la 1er. moitié du XVIIe s/2687', 'Collection E. EVRARD', 'A.694' and the letters 'ATZ'.
Traces of writing on the reverse of the ivory; minor cracks.
