A Barr, Flight & Barr armorial plate
the centre painted in shades of iron-red, pink and gilt with an arm outstretched from a castelated tower, the hand holding a star, within a a salmon-pink and gilt dentil band, the border painted in iron-red with griffins between salmon-pink and gilt lozenges, gilt-line rim, impressed marks, circa 1810 (some wear) -- 24cm. diam.; and a Minton's armorial plate, painted in colours and gilt with two hounds supporting a shield surmounted by a coronet and a crest of a hound passant, above the motto FRANCAS NON FLECTES, within gilt dentil rim, impressed marks, indistinct date code, circa 1875 (minor wear) -- 22.5cm. diam.
