engraving, 1594from the set of six, third state (of five), a very good impression, watermark Bird in a Circle, with thread margins, a small tear at the left sheet edge extending approx. 20mm. into the subject, a few central horizontal creases mainly visible on the reverse, a tiny loss at the lower left sheet edge, a few small creases at the extreme right sheet edge, some foxing and discoloration mainly at the edges, other minor defects, otherwise generally in good condition
