etching with drypoint, 1642fourth (final) state, a very good impression, with some burr in the shaded area lower right and traces on the grass at the left edge, watermark Foolscap, with narrow to thread margins, the platemark enhanced with pen and ink, small repairs at the upper corners, a repaired tear at the lower left corner, a few creases visible on the reverse (one with a tiny split at the top), some pale discoloration and traces of surface dirt mainly visible on the reverse, other minor defects
