etchings with engraving, circa 1747-63title, text, dedication, portrait plate, and set of 36, fine, black impressions, with good contrasts, the majority with watermark Crowned Eagle, or Fleur-de-Lys, and various countermarks, with wide margins, text plates and first ten plates with one or two worm holes at the extreme upper margin corners, portrait plate with a short tear at the lower sheet edge, one or two plates with minor surface abrasions and thin spots mainly in the margins, one or two with foxing and staining, most with minor defects, generally in good condition, bound in calf-backed boards, spine in eight compartments, seven with floral device in gilt, one with title in gilt, scuffed at the edges, upper hinge weak, other defects(album)
