The top and front inlaid with feather-banding, the rectangular top above a hinged bureau enclosing a green baize-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior with a central door flanked by drawer-backed pilasters and eight pigeon-holes, four drawers and a well, the lower drawers with secret compartments to the back and one drawer previously with a padlock, the lower section with two small drawers above two long graduated drawers, on a moulded plinth base with shaped bracket feet, restorations and replacements to the interior, including one drawer and one division replaced, the feet reshaped
