woodcut, circa 1503, from the set of twenty, a Meder b impression after the 1511 edition, watermark Small City Gate (M. 273), with thread margins or trimmed on the borderline, a horizontal drying fold below centre supported verso and touched with ink recto, the upper right corner made up, further repaired tears and small made-up areas in places in the subject and at the edges, a paper abrasion on the column lower left, lesser defects
