The Glorification of the Virgin, from The Life of the Virgin
woodcut, circa 1502, from the set of twenty, a fine impression presumably from the 1511 edition, the Latin text trimmed off (?), watermark Flower with Triangle (?) (M. 127) (indistinct), trimmed on the borderline, a central horizontal fold, a repaired tear in the lunette, a further small repaired tear to the right of the monogram with associated touches of pen and ink, and to Joseph's face, the repairs extremely skilful and unobtrusive, lesser defects
