The stand on three baluster feet and with moulded rim with drop ring handles, the plain lamp with detachable cover supported on three scroll brackets, with two pins on chains, the pear-shaped kettle with leaf-capped curved spout, the detachable domed cover with associated part-wood finial and part-wood swing handle, the body faintly engraved twice with two crests beneath Earl's coronet, the stand marked on handles, lamp cover, and on the rim and pins with 19th century addition marks, the kettle marked on base and cover, the hinge with 19th century addition mark
