An English carved and gilded frame, in the Louis XIV style, possibly 18th Century, with foliate outer edge; outer scotia; the corners of the ogee moulding with fleur-de-lys and flower heads on a punched ground, flanked by scrolling foliage and strapwork; recessed sanded band with flower patterns at corners; torus with foliage and strapwork motifs; plate to the sight edge - 23½ x 13¼ x 6.7/8 in. (59.7 x 33.6 x 17.4 cm.)
