An oak folding table, English, early 17th century
with canted hinged top and foliate lunette-carved frieze, on ring-turned legs joined by carved arcades, with an additional drop pendant upright and a shallow arcade to each side with an undertier and moulded stretchers beneath, on stile feet, the undertier front plank replaced, the other two loose -- 39in. (99cm.) wide, 30in. (77cm.) high, 19in. (49cm.) deep
