with a moulded cornice and a pair of twin ogee arched panelled doors between canted angles, with three frieze drawers below, the lower section with an arrangement of five drawers, on bracket feet -- 55in. (140cm.) wide, 59½in. (151cm.) high, 19½in. (49cm.) deep

Lot Essay

The additional row of small drawers below the cupboard doors is less typical of such cupboards. It is also interesting to note the unusual feature of the front and side bracket feet being dove-tailed into one another.
