The "mememto mori" ring with oval bezel enclosing an applied skull and crossed bones and gilt thread initial against a hair ground under faceted crystal, with chased surround, the bezel reverse with black and white dot enamel border, engraved, Rem, VOF to foliate engraved, black enamel shoulders, circa 1680; the mourning ring with paste-set bezel to white enamel scroll design shoulders with indistinct legend, dated 1734, major loss to enamel, finger sizes K & N (2)
