A 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN CAST SILVER TWIN-BRANCH DWARF CANDELABRUM,
MARK OF NIKOLS & PLINKE, ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1850,
On fluted tapering column descending to a circular spreading base with small chased scroll-edged cartouche to either side, each engraved with armorial shield depicting a 6-pointed star above a crescent moon, the scroll branches joined at top by intersecting scrolls, the detachable capitals chased with stiff leaves, 9½ in. high (24.5 cm.), 29 oz.
