the former of melon-fluted moulded oval form and on scrolling foliate feet, with a gadrooned rim, foliate handles and detachable cover, both the body and cover applied with shield-shaped cartouches, one engraved with an armorial, the other with a crest - 8¾in. (22.25cm.) overall, the pair of candlesticks on foliate and flute-decorated rising hexafoil bases and with baluster stems and elongated campana-shaped sockets - 10¼in. (26cm.) (3)
