Everton won the Lancashire Principal League this season with 56 points, Stoke being runners-up with 43 points. Due to the outbreak of War, after season 1914-15 clubs completed as normal, two geographical groups were formed (Lancashire and Midlands) for all but five clubs in the south who along with Southern League clubs played in the London Combination. The regional competition was split between a Principal and a Subsidiary Tournament (2)
