A Belgian silver chocolate pot, covered milk-jug and later unmarked sugar-basin with cover
Indistinctly marked, Belgium, the chocolate pot possibly struck 87, both the chocolate pot and the milk-jug also stamped with Belgian import-mark used between 1831-1868, the sugar-basin unmarked
The chocolate pot on three spreading square feet, the cylindrical and pear-shaped body with three medallions each with classical bust hanging from garland festoons on matted and plain reeded ground, foliate bands, partly wooden scroll handle chained to the cover, the plain upper part with further festoons, foliate and gadrooned spout with dolphin head finial, domed beaded and foliate cover, detachable pine-cone finial, the smaller covered milk-jug and covered two-handled sugar-basin excecuted ensuite
