The body tapering slightly towards a slight flare at the foot, painted around the sides with a scene of female dancers and musicians entertaining a court official seated beneath an umbrella in front of a large screen on a terrace, the nianhao within a circular depression in the center of the base; together with a blue and white saucer dish, Kangxi six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and of the period, the interior painted with a large shou medallion surrounded by a band of shou medallions at the rim, the exterior with a frieze of cranes amidst clouds
