WANLI PERIOD (1573-1619)
The body is painted in deep cobalt-blue with shaped cartouches of floral sprays growing amidst rocks, and the shoulder with shaped panels of blossoming branches separated by four animal masks, reserved on a diaper band. The cover is decorated with three panels enclosing floral branches, also on a diaper ground.
