JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE IN A LINE AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The cup is decorated around the steep, flaring sides with lantsa characters framed by a continuous lotus scroll, the base of the cup encircled by lotus lappets enclosing ruyi heads, all above the tall, spreading stem foot decorated with pendent tassels below a lightly molded band of detached flowerheads, and the interior with a central stylized flower head, all within double-line borders.
