The stembowl resting on a splayed foot, the domed cover with a spherical knop finial, moulded in shallow relief to the exterior with archaistic motifs, the exterior covered with a rich-blue thinning on raised areas

Literature
A Jiaqing-marked vessel of similar form was included in the Art Gallery of New South Wales Exhibition of Late Chinese Imperial Porcelain, 1980, Catalogue, no. 3. The author notes that blue-glazed vessels were used at the Altar of Heaven.
