A BÖTTGER GOLDCHINESEN TWO-HANDLED BEAKER AND A SAUCER
CIRCA 1725
Decorated in the Augsburg workshop of Seuter, the beaker with Orientals on terraces, one with an Oriental pushing another in a wheeled chair, the other with a figure pruning a flowering tree issuing from a vase, on interlocking strapwork supports below a dentil border, the inner rim gilt with a scalloped border edged with beaded C-scrolls, the foliage-moulded double-scroll handles partially gilt, the saucer with two Orientals by a table, a stag nearby, with a similar support and border (beaker with very slight wear to gilding of handles, rim and vignettes, saucer extensively damaged and repaired) (2)

Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam for the beaker, according to the attached paper label (apparently from the Herbert Pick Collection).
