On an integrally cast plinth and circular ebonised wooden socle; the globe extensively engraved.
Dark brown patina with warm lighter brown highlights; the globe associated.

Lot Essay

The present model is attributed to Severo da Ravenna, and usually supports an inkwell in the form of a globe.
