Late 16th/Early 17th Century
Centrally woven with a group of armor-clad warriors with a warrior kneeling in the foreground, a scene of a military camp in background backed by a tree-lined walled city, the borders woven with courtly figures interspersed with flower-filled urns, male terms with scrolling strapwork and floral motifs, the top and bottom centering landscapes with the Rape of Europa, reduced in size, extensive reweaving to borders, particularly to right side
