A CARVED REALGAR-GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1850
The slightly flattened ovoid bottle with flat lip and recessed base is carved through the bright orange and red exterior 'skin' with fish and sea plants in high relief on an opaque ground of orange and red color.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, mother-of-pearl stopper
