The deity strides in alidhasana on prone human and animal figures over a lotus base, holding a skull cup and curved knife in the principle hands and various implements in the radiating others. The central face is in the form of a ferocious buffalo, and is flanked and surmounted by human faces. His consort, Vajra Vetali, has one leg wrapped around the deity, and holds a skull cup and curved knife. Both are backed by a flaming aureole.
