A CAUCASIAN MIQUELET-LOCK PISTOL
19th Century
With russet barrel decorated over its full length with panels of gold koftgari interlace and retained by two silver bands chased with nielloed foliage (one missing), iron lock with gold-lined maker's stamp on the bridle and decorated with further panels of gold interlace and geometric ornament throughout, leather-covered full stock applied with chased nielloed silver plaques, silver pommel en suite (dented), and decorated button trigger.
