A Chelsea leveret tureen and cover
Circa 1755, red anchor mark and 294 to cover, 294 to base
Naturally modelled crouching to the left with pink-lined ears and black and yellow eyes, grey nose and brown whiskers, its white coat with brown patches, with brown feet with brown claws, its left back foot white (chip to inside flange of cover, chip to top edge of left ear, slight crack to both ears near head, slight sanding to rim of cover)
