A Chelsea pierced oval butter cooler
with pierced handles and scroll feet, the exterior moulded to simulate coopering, painted with insects and scattered sprigs below a brown line rim, circa 1756 (cracked and restored) -- 13cm. wide; and a Chelsea shell-moulded dish, painted with scattered sprays of flowers within dentil borders, circa 1758 (minor flaking and glaze crazing) -- 22cm. diam
