A Chelsea plate of 'Hans Sloane' type
Circa 1756, red anchor mark
Painted with a spray of blue flowers and a smaller spray of daffodils, the border with two butterflies and a beetle, within a shaped brown-line rim (cracks to the rim and some flaking to the brown line of the rim, the well with glaze crazing)
