A Chinese bronze censer and cover, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
of rectangular form raised on four supports, twin pierced dragon handles to the shoulders, the body decorated in relief with flowerheads and scrolling foliage, the pierced cover with Buddhistic lion finial; and a bronze bell with foliate rim edge and twin beasthead handles, pheonix decoration to the body -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high max.
