A Chinese bronze compressed censer
18th Century, Xuande six characetr mark to base.
decorated with shaped panels of figures in pavillions beside trees, lion-mask handles, the top rim with incised flower scrolls -- 9½in. (24cm.) wide; a Japanese bronze rectangular censer decorated with confronting dragon roundels on geometric grounds, signature tablet to base -- 7¼in. (18.3cm.) wide; and a rounded square bronze jardiniere, each side with shaped panels decorated with dragons on a wave pattern ground, lion-mask and loose-ring handles -- 6¾in. (17.1cm.) wide, (rim section damaged on second piece).
