A Chinese carved ivory tea casket with two Dutch silver tea-caddies Maker's mark tea-caddies of Arnoldus Wilot, Middelburg, 1787-1801; casket circa 1800 The rectangular ivory casket on four shaped supports, the four sides and hinged cover finely carved with Chinese landscape with houses in rectangulars enclosed by grapes and vines and squirrels, red velvet lining, the shaped square silver caddies each with plain sides, hinged flat cover engraved with a band of grapes and vines and squirrels, an applied water-lily finial 17.7cm. wide, 9.7cm. high (casket); 6.7cm. high and 8.3cm. wide (tea-caddies) marked on reverse caddies 498gr.
