Comprising three slender baluster jars and covers and two beaker vases, the lobed sides of quadrangular section, painted and moulded with vertical cuspate panels enclosing various branches of chrysanthemum, peony, lotus and prunus, reserved on a trellis-pattern ground between rows of moulded lotus petals, supported on a knopped hexagonal spreading foot, the shaped domed covers applied with double-lotus-bud finials, Bearing a paper label inscribed Collection Joseph M. Morpurgo, Antiquair, Nieuwe Hoogstraat 7, Amsterdam (restorations to the finials, frittings and some chips)
