A Chinese gilt-bronze interlocked two-section buckle and hook, 18th century
of rectangular form, cast with loose confronting dragons pursuing the flaming pearl framed by a band of bosses and twist-rope design on the long sides, the reverse incised with a foliate floral scroll, the sliding sections with five characters and foliate scrolls -- overall 3.1.8in. (8cm.) wide.
