A Chinese gilt lacquered bronze model of a monk, 16th 17th century
the standing figure modelled with his hands held before him in namaskara, the face with a devotional expression and eyes shut, wearing long flowing robes tied with a ribbon at the shoulder and adorned with foliate floral scrolls at the hems, supported on a rectangular plinth with a lappet shaped apron -- 12 11/16in (29.7cm.) high.
