A CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE BASIN MADE FOR THE INDIAN MARKET, CHINA, 1790-1810
With deep well, the interior and sides painted with sprays of pink flowers and green foliage, two concentric rings of cobalt enamel with gilt feathering at centre and one to rim, six cartouches outlined in cobalt blue around sides with alternating gilt and painted floral decoration, the exterior with three sprays of flowers - 14.5in. (37cm.) diam.
