carved as a man with ivory inlaid eyes, wearing an overcoat, with his right hand holding a pipe and his left resting on the shoulder of a girl at his side, her hands clasped together against her chest, supported on rockwork -- 10¼in. (26cm.) high; a Chinese wood figure of a female warrior clad in armour and holding a sword; and a Japanese ivory netsuke of a sambaso dancer, with signature, Meiji. (3)
