In two parts: the upper section with rectangular top and molded broken swan's-neck pediment terminating in carved rosettes, centering an urn- and-flame finial flanked by two similar finials above fluted plinths over a conforming case fitted with panelled doors with scallop-molded surrounds opening to a shelved interior above two candleslides, all flanked by fluted pilasters; the lower section with conforming mid-molding over a slant-lid opening to an compartmented interior fitted with shell carved short drawers above similar drawers flanking two pigeonholes over short drawers centering a similar shell carved short drawer over a short drawer, flanked by document drawers, all over three short drawers, all above a serpentine case with four graduated long drawers, with a figured skirt with carved shell, all on cabriole ball-and-claw feet with figured returns (the doors replaced)
