A CIZHOU-TYPE RUSSET-SPLASHED BLACKISH-BROWN-GLAZED BOWL
SONG-JIN DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
The bowl has conical sides that round up to the rim and is covered with a lustrous, blackish-brown glaze splashed inside and out with russet markings, which ends on the exterior above the foot exposing the pale grey ware.
