A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL 'DOUBLE GOURD' DOUBLE VASE
QIANLONG-JIAQING PERIOD (1736-1820)
The vase is cast in the form of two adjoined double gourds with an elaborate gilt ribbon around the centre. It is delicately enamelled to the exterior with lotus scrolls in vibrant colours reserved on a turquoise ground.
