painted by Frederick Chivers with fruit on beds of earth within gilt cartouches, signed, the borders gilt with scrolling foliage issuing from stylised vases, within gilt line rim, comprising: two two-handled shaped oval dishes, two two-handled shaped square dishes, two two-handled shaped circular dishes, and twelve plates, printed green and impressed marks, early 20th century (one oval dish cracked, some rubbing to gilding and surface scratches)See illustration (18)
