In the Renaissance taste, on spreading circular base with crenellated band, the faceted rock crystal chalice with knopped stem and silver bands with paterae, the flaring silver rim with band of acanthus, the domed faceted rock crystal cover with similar rim mount and silver finial of a figure entwined with ribbon, engraved under cover AF monogram 1556, apparently unmarked, in fitted leather case
