A CONTINENTAL SILVER DOUBLE CUP
Struck with prestige marks, probably late 19th century
In the early seventeenth century taste, each with swirled lobed baluster bowl, on spreading stem on scalloped base, stem top applied with rose-hip and foliate scroll pendant canopy, the shoulder applied with rose-hip at intervals, above with foliate scroll and floral engraved band between applied corded borders--20in. (50.8cm.) high, 50oz.
